I also had KUNG-FU HEAVY DUTY once. Who thinks up these names anyway, and where do they come from?

My grandpa once had a secret stash of batteries in this sort of small chest of drawers for accessories and stuff. My younger self thought she'd hit the ultimate jackpot.

Then I realized they were pretty much all off-brand and had shitty life spans and some off them had already started leaking battery fluid. :(

Are you one of my commenters here? Seriously. Or was Drawer of Weird Old Leaky Batteries a grandpa thing at some point?

Not a gamer. Never a gamer. Nope.

But I had to comment ...

No matter where you go, there you are.

Here, have a thing I made (...five years ago now? jeez), learning how to edit sound in a digital audio workstation.

The Diesel-Driven Eight Dimensional Jet Car Blues

(It always bugged me that we never heard a number out of these guys, but plot kept happening, and, well, you know... so I fixed it.)

You. Are. Amazing. Just played this for my Best Beloved and we agree, your skills are kickass (although, would B. Banzai actually say "shit"? Maybe after spending too long in the 8th dimension ....)

We also agreed, we'd love to have the words.

You want it, Artie? You got it. The Diesel-Driven Eight-Dimensional Jet Car Blues (lyrics).

In character, it's music/lyrics B. Banzai/P. Tommy, so the lyrics are Perfect Tommy's fault. Also, a couple of puns are more obvious in text form. I have kind of a headcanon where Perfect Tommy makes puns in lyrics a lot. XD

Thank you for liking the song. I put up about one free download track a year - mostly my more fannish stuff - so enjoy some free downloads if you like. In particular, Kaiju Meat, the Pacific Rim song I released last year for Jaegercon, went over pretty big in the fandom. (I really liked Pacific Rim. :D )
