Re: Is having an active fantasy life harmful?

Your description sounds like what I've done most of my life. I might take inspiration for characters from places like books, TV, toys, even a fantasy poster, but I still have some version of a story I started back when I was 9, lurking in my head. The original characters are dead, but their reincarnations are running around and ending up in places like The Sims, because I want to make sims of them.

I do similar with my personal versions of fandom characters and my person AUs of their lives, but I still fondly remember Jerry Bumstead and Caroline Task, and occasionally pull out their Lego figures for a dose of nostalgia.
