Weekend Plans?

What is everyone up to this weekend?

I am actually doing something! I'll be driving to Wichita to visit the mall very early. Then in the afternoon I will be picking up my sister and neices at the airport. They don't know we are going to be there (they are just expecting my mom). We made the most obnoxious welcome sign we could. It is neon pink, glitter, with pugs, sloths, and PvZ pictures. It is gonna be awesome.

Playing The Wolf Among Us, an episode a night. Finished episode 1 last night and nearly threw my PC out the window. Can't wait to start episode 2 tonight.

Ah, I tend to wait for the full season to come out. I am waiting for Season 2 of TWD to be done. I bought during the Steam Sale, so now we wait.

My best friend's bridal shower is tomorrow & I'll probably see a movie with my dad on Sunday.

Also, I went to the bookstore, to see Tammy, and to get my nails done this afternoon.

All in all it's looking to be a perfectly splendid weekend.

I'll be at work. And my usual trains to get there are canceled whole weekend because of construction, so I have to take a bus. I already have long workdays (well Saturday is only 7 hours, Sunday is 10), and now I have to spend at least 30 mins more on getting there. *sigh*

Youmacon cosplay picnic in Troy. Unofficial event organized by congoers because once a year is not enough Detroit-area nerd fun for us.

Wearing a sort of trollish cosplay, and bringing a ball pit. Seriously. I spent $60 on play balls, instead of bringing food to share, since I wouldn't be eating anyway. XD

I have wine, I have ice cream (plus other, healthier, snacks), I have playlists queued ... I AM going to get my final two essays done this weekend.

Finish a fic, apply for a job, load up the queue of my Star Trek blog, play Sims. Maybe watch Babylon 5 if I have time. Likely watch The A-Team.

Working like crazy. I'm losing a week in September when I have to fly out of state for a wedding, and I have three deadlines due immediately before that week, during, or right after. I'm grateful to have plenty of work, but the rest of the summer isn't going to be much more than workworkwork.

I want to write on one of my WIPs...

OMG that sounds awesome with your sister and nieces. Sounds like something they'll really enjoy.

My weekend plans? Working Sunday, a child's birthday party on Sunday and packing tomorrow because I'm going on vacation to LA next weekend so excited!! I'm going to a film festival and hoping to meet a bunch of celebrities.

Gonna call up a friend I don't see often enough and see if she wants to do dinner and card games tonight. If she's not in the mood, I'll spend the evening at Starbucks hammering some more words into place. Tomorrow is puppy class with The Fuzzy Idiot again (he's getting slightly less stupid!) and probably more writing. Sunday is an exciting mystery of "I have no plans yet."
