I believe technically just Rory, Amy did try to one-night-stand him just before her wedding.

My point is that Amy spent a good chunk of her life obsessing over the Doctor (I mean, did you see her room full of arts and crafts of him?) and then she tried to have sex with him. It is not a leap of logic to suggest that those feelings were romantic.

So you didn't understand Amy at all. She only tried to bang him because she was afraid of getting married and sleeping with another man was a form of escapism, but the one she always loved was Rory.

For god's sake, this is Doctor Who, it's not like the writing is subtle and hard to understand.

By implying that the writers were totally going for "obsessed over for years + sexually attracted to != romantically attracted to in any way, shape, or form" that's giving them way more credit for subtlety and nuance than is probably due.

Man, the fact that she had conflicting feelings for both Rory and the Doctor was the plot of an entire episode. I think you're a bit too invested in your ship.

She was annoyingly favoring the Doctor most of the time and ignoring Rory until, like, the last few eps where the writers finally realized she was being stupid the whole time so they cheaply tried to sell us the whole "No, I love Rory" thing that I didn't buy at all.

Clara (newest one) said she fancied him. On a truth field thing, not even willingly. That's it. She didn't whine for us all the time like Martha or didn't try to force him into doing things for her like Amy. And fancied could also just mean adored not like oh so in love.
