I can think of a few enemies to friends, but not many that move on to lover in canon.

(Shades of Grey, Life Lessons, a bit of Reign Storm, Ultimate Enemy, Flirting With Disaster and D-Stabilized - all show the glorious character development that leads to it)
They even dated in canon and, at least IMO there's a good amount of evidence that they still hold feelings for one another. It was just insanely good and not something you'd expect from an animated Nickleodeon cartoon (pre A:tLA at least)
