Addition to above: Where the break was in your leg may be a weak point for a long time after it heals.

This. when I was in middle school a 12-year old friend broke their leg, was in a cast for ... six months? Two weeks after the cast came off they slipped on the patiop and re-broke it. :(

Thanks for the concern, but I didn't actually break my leg, I was just in a situation where I think I almost did, but I was just wondering how long I would have been recovering from it if I had broken it. Thanks for the info though -- sounds a good deal worse than a broken arm.
