Americans are kind of loud and pushy. This isn't due to them being uncultured so much as just having a culture of being...aggressively friendly is the best way I can put it.

It's a culture I've experienced with most Latino cultures, Indian culture, and is generally prevalent across many minority and non-white/European cultures. American loudness, pushiness, friendliness, etc. has nothing compared to, say, India's (in my experience), or even many Jewish or Black communities within America.

However, America isn't compared to them - it's compared to white Europe, which is generally a little more reserved (or at least portrayed as a little more reserved). That means Americans come off as being uncultured compared to Europeans, and how they compare to Europeans is the image that gets propagated, not how they are on their own or how they compare to cultures around the whole world.
