Maybe give it a break, then go back and read it in larger sections. I agree the Chimera ant was a bit of a slog, but it would have been bearable if it hadn't been dragged out over seven years or however long it was... O_o I've recently started watching the new anime version of the arc, and it seems a lot tighter than when I first encountered it.

But I love Hunter x Hunter, and even if the ending is utter crap I'll still consider it one of my favorite comics for the exam arc and Yorkshin alone.

Also, if Leorio gets to be a main character again, I'll take Gon and Killua having a break.
