Actually yeah. As someone who was, is, and always will be ugly I'm going to have zero sympathies for such a character. Maybe if Raven chose to be plain and even *gasp* fat I might have some cares.

If you could look like whoever you want, would you deliberately choose an appearance that will get you more troubles than looking pretty?

Raven looks like the most appropriate person to reach her goal of the moment. It's easier to go around in life if you look like a beautiful woman.
When required, she looks like a plain guard, or like Pr. Bolivar Trask, played by GoT Peter Dinklage.
