I hope you're seeking some help for the intense feelings of self hatred you have. I can see why you wouldn't care that a character despises looking like that, if you have such irrationally strong feelings against your own appearance, but it doesn't change the fact that she does despise it, and that the argument is we should be able to be accepted in our natural state if we want to be. Mystique would actually be on your side.
