I can only say that I agree with you. I was only interested in HxH, that is, its plot and its characters, before the hiatus. I've heard about the Chimera Arc, but since I'm not a big horror fan in the first place, I will neither watch nor read it. If Togashi comes up with something similar as the pre-Chimera HxH later on, I would happily pick it up again, though I suppose it will remain wishful thinking.
