Chrom is probably my least favorite protagonist ever, but Lucina is among my faves. I wish f/f was possible in Awakening so I could do that, but instead I pretended my boy avatar was also a girl in disguise. The things I do for these games.

I thought I'd love Chrom but found him fairly meh after the first chapters. I don't think that's a hugely minority view, I've seen it around from others.

My faves: Miriel, Lon'qu, Sully, Frederick, Anna, Brady, Owain.


I haven't decided who to marry on this playthrough, but probably Laurent or Brady. It's the first time I've held off until the kids arrive.

Me too! I never finished the game because I found it so... bland though. It wasn't bad, it just didn't hold my interest like other FE games.

I always felt Chrom was one of those characters that couldn't really stand up well on his own, but was a more interesting with other characters in terms of relationships and interactions.

But, yes for Lucina! Lucina's great.

I find Chrom's awkwardness rather endearing, though I agree he's not the most well-rounded character. I like Chrom/Robin anyway. And Lucina is just plain awesome in all versions. I shall have *such* fun playing as her or Robin in Smash Bros.!
