"fandom should be non commercial because it's fandom" okay then.

Fanart commissions are a very specific case and I don't see what that has to do with my comments. Just cause you can enjoy something for free doesn't mean the people who successfully charge for it are foolish or wrong. Just because some countries have laws that protect the exclusive commercial rights of the creators doesn't mean it's "morally sketch" when they don't exercise them. As long as everyone's being honest it's not a moral question imo.
