General: Is anyone ever grateful for/humbled/honored by their BNF status? This isn't a comment towards any secret or secrets, just a general observation. I know one BNF who wears the title in that fashion, and that's it.

I think a lot of people who are BNFs don't really notice that they are. Most of my favourite writers are pretty humble, and I consider them BNFs. ...At least for MY fandoms/ships, though that usually isn't saying very much...

I occupy a rather narrow section of the fan universe, and only became aware of the term within the past six months. Most people I know (save the one I mentioned initially) who might be considered BNFs have distanced themselves from fandom or deny being. When I read the secrets here, people have a much different perception of BNFs. It just makes me wonder if there's something in between utter denial and narcissism here.

The two extremes, of ultra!modest BNF and the BNF that finds themselves to be the Übermensch, I find it funny. I dunno, I'm easily amused. XD

I have been told I'm a BNF. I don't really believe it, though. It just seems weird to me.

I mean, assuming it's true, I'm flattered, but I don't think it is XD;;

Welcome to the club. 8D Coincidentally, the main community for Mighty Boosh is calmallamadown, but if you're interested in that pairing specifically, an interest search turned up booshslashhaven.

Apparently they've taken a lot of the episodes down from YouTube, but that first community has a lot of links, and I'm sure they still exist on sites like Veoh.

Sorry if I seem stalker-ish or am pestering you, I'm just always excited about new fans of the series. :X They're so rare.

Youtube has had mostly clips... that's why I've been watching primarily. I ought to know what a full episode is like.
