Awwww. I think you're right. Dot's not a flashy character and she doesn't have the spotlight the way Phryne does, but she is, in many ways, just as brave if not braver. She doesn't have Phryne's money or social status as protection for what she does. She's also come a long way, so her character is more dynamic in how its developed and will continue to develop.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with being a Dot!

Awwww, there's absolutely nothing wrong with being a Dot and Phryne, champion of all women no matter their place, ambition, status, or personality, would absolutely agree. The Phrynes of the world need the Dots of the world to keep them from going too far and rescue them when they go too far anyway. The Dots of the world quietly keep it running, which might not be glamorous, but is just as important ♥

Yay, a Phryne Fisher secret, and a sweet one, too. :) If TV!Dot is anything like her book original, she is definitely pretty great. Being organised and quick-thinking is nothing to be sneezed at, OP!

Dot is so great!

Like, she's determined and committed and compassionate. She's very good at putting the pieces of a puzzle together and when she's involved, she goes 100% balls to the wall. And she's like, really smart, too. She's coming out of her shell and figuring out who and what she wants to be and it's such a pleasure to watch.

There's no shame in being a Dot!

Even though the show has it's definite 'heroes', I'm more inclined to identify with a minor character on this show (not that Dot is actually a minor character) than major ones on other shows.

SO LIKE, had the actor come down with a child in the last series? her double chin grew a bit and she's got enormous bosoms now. I tried looking it up, but I got railroaded into a porn site. (HER NAME IS AMANDA CUMMINGS. *sigh*
