I'm not really a Scarecrow fan, but I thought getting walloped in the end was kind of his deal. He likes to scare people, but is very cowardly himself, so he's very well suited to "karmic" punishments that echo his own misdeeds.

... why would Scarecrow be the Joker?

I'm more concerned about this "anti-Batman" character. I hate the concept in general: Bane is most interesting when he's not trying so damn hard to "dethrone" Batman, I've never liked any incarnation of Wrath, and Prometheus was the kind of character only Grant Morrison would think is a good idea. I don't know why DC keeps going back to that well, and if Rocksteady comes up with a new character outright I'm going to scream. And then I'll scream again when DC inevitably uses the character in the comics.

I think it refers to how Black Mask turned out to be Joker. Which, yeah, was pretty bad. Black Mask apparently isn't threatening enough on his own? Right...

And I totally agree on the anti-Batman thing. There are, what, twenty rogues that are "dark mirrors" of Batman. We don't need any more.

Aren't these characters the villains? Wouldn't you kind of expect them to be treated badly?
