Star Wars Rebels

Is anyone else excited? I wasn't until recently. But the latest casting news combined with the extended trailer released today has made me really, really excited. I think it is going to be awesome. Though I wish we had been given more of the female characters in the trailer.

I'm trying to contain myself and lower my expectations, but it's so difficult! I want it to be awesome. I just don't want to admit it to myself yet.

I'm not excited, but not not excited. I'm just sort of really hesitant about the whole thing because I can't get over being leery of the director doing the same shoddy job for this as he did in Star Trek. I'll definitely see it because I loved the other Star Wars movies and there's no way I wouldn't, but I'm doing the best I can not to get my hopes up so I won't have as much disappointment if it sucks.

This is the animated tv show, not the Abrams movie.

Oh! I guess I didn't read your post closely enough, I'm sorry! I didn't even know about a new animated show. After looking it up it sounds really interesting and like the sort of plot I'd really like to see, I'll definitely be checking it out when it's on tv.

I love the universe - I'm not sure how I feel about it, but I'm certainly willing to give it a shot. Cautiously excited I guess.
