Also I cannot stand Angel (BtVA/AtS). I've never made myself watch any of Bones to see if it's the actor or the character, though.

OMG; I've only seen about 10 episodes of Buffy and I already can't stand Angel! Though I have to say, they're doing the Twilight plot a little better than Twilight managed to. So far.

Personally, I love BtVS (probably one of my top 5 shows ever) ... and I like every character in every season ... except for Angel. (I personally don't find Boreananz that sexy, but they do do some interesting thingsw with the character, pot wise.)

Are you watching from the beginning?

Yep! Just got to the Angel-is-a-vampire plot twist. I love it. I LOVE BUFFY A LOT. But Angel is so very eh. The most entertaining thing about him thus far is that he turns Xander into a crazed jealousy puppy, but basically everything seems to have the same effect so it's not even needed.

*g* I hope you continue to enjoy it! (some people say not to bother watching the whole series, but I feel it's worth giving the whole thing a chance. (I happen to love it all, but I know not everyone feels that way.)

I almost don't want to get your hopes up but I felt the same way about Angel in the beginning of BtVS. He bored me to tears back then, but around Season 2 I started to find him interesting. I like him as a character and B/A is a sort of backburner forever ship for me (they are much better than Edward/Bella and the show will continue that), but honestly Angel is more fun to watch when he's being mocked, or when he tries to be cool.

I really only liked Angel when he was Angelus on BtVS. I thought he was better in AtS though when Buffy was out of the picture.
