What are some songs that remind you of a ship the second you hear them? Was it a new song to you or an older one that suddenly hit your shipping feels after you got into a new fandom?

SA: Posted this here for length. I listened to "I Know" by Fiona Apple today and the first thing I thought of was Steve/Bucky, particularly a pining Bucky from their time together in the Howling Commandos.

Dang. I have my "Songs to Vid Later" playlist on my other computer. I mean, I have no vidding skills or software to even try, so it's more like a list of songs that totally struck me as fitting with certain character dynamics. Well boo.

I do know that I can play Chromeo's Jealous song for just about all my my ships (especially if I like them unrequited) while I imagine this amazing fanvid I would make if I could.
Also, Just Be Friends too. Because I also like to imagine that I make fanart fanvids with my ships to it.

When I watch the Bollywood movie, "Mujhse Dosti Karoge" and it gets to the huge Medley section, it reminds me of my favorite ship and I cry.

It wasn't an instant thing, but two different fanmixes for my ship used the same song and now I can't disassociate it AND I've actually started to like that song.

And it's by fucking Coldplay.
