Dun dun dun, no SasuSaku moment! However there was something SasuSaku related this week* which I will talk about last. The chapter starts with the Hokages talking to the Sage. They're making a plan to help fight Kaguya. Kakashi watches Naruto and his clones battle Kaguya and reflects on how useless he is. Sasuke, Sakura, and Obito appear and Naruto gets distracted. Kaguya attacks Naruto and it looks like he's done for-to the horror of Obito/Sakura-but nope! It was just another clone and Naruto is A-okay. Naruto teases Sasuke and asks him if he properly thanked Sakura/Obito, which he dodges out of answering.

Kaguya is weak now and makes a last ditch effort to destroy them. She teleports them to the last dimension....gravity! Kaguya throws projectiles at Naruto and Sasuke, as they are unable to move due to the gravity effect. Kakashi and Obito run towards them to act as shields. And then...a wild Rin appears! She grabs hold of their hands and pulls them in front of Sasuke and Naruto...somehow! Kakashi starts talking to Rin, mentioning that they'll all be together again while Obito thinks to himself that it's time for her to spend some time alone with only him and uses Kamui to destroy the projectile headed towards Kakashi. Obito is FINALLY dead-maybe! The last page has the projectile turning his stomach into a crumbly mess.

*Now for that SasuSaku thing. The color cover this week is a Western theme. Naruto and Kakashi are riding horses, while Naruto has two guns locked and loaded. Beside them are Sasuke and Sakura...sharing the same horse, with Sakura blushing/her arms wrapped around Sasuke's waist. As you can imagine the NaruSaku shippers are not happy about this and the SasuSaku shippres are happy/disappointed at the same time. Interesting that Kishimoto decided to do such a pro-SasuSaku cover. I admit my NaruHina self is happy with it. :p

I don't really ship anything outside Kakashi/Sakura, but my stomach is revolting over that image.

If I pretend ShippuSasuke never existed and it's just part one Sasuke then it's fine for me. I'm a NaruHina shipper, so I'm not too concerned about what happens with Sasuke or Sakura. (I know that NH usually also ships SS, but I'm neutral)

That cover image made want a Wild West AU but with the adults, especially Gai and Kakashi.
