Tumblr's big anime fandoms, honestly. SnK and Free! mainly, but Dramatical Murder and most of the yaoi fandoms have been getting on my nerves lately.

And Dangan Ronpa, if that counts.

Seconding this. Especially Free, SnK, and DMMD. DMMD is just bad.

This might not even count but the Anti-Disney fandom. Jeesh, I have never seen more annoying hate.

So agreed. (One of the underlying factors of my anti-anti-Big Hero 6 rant this past Saturday, come to think of it.)

We get it. They're the company that can do no right.

Kingdom Hearts, in the sense that while shipping is fine, I find it hard pressed to go to a fandom space that isn't entirely shipping and character bashing related to shipping in KH (I really just like the story as is and some gameplay stuff, hence this post).

None. I just ignore them.

Although I used to have friends in Bandom who got pretty annoying at times. But that wasn't even Bandom, that was just them being annoying.

Firefly. Just because the browncoats seem to be determined to lever it into every other fandom related conversation or fanbomb voter-polls even if Firefly is barely even tangentially relevant. I've seen the reavers from Serentiy be mass-voted for in a best zombie competition (they aren't even zombies ffs!) and seen a tantrum by Firefly fans when their attempt to use it as a write-in for best Fantasy work was disallowed on grounds that one psychic girl does not make it a fantasy work.

It was a one-season wonder that I wish they'd just let die.

I love Firefly but I kind of, don't like the fandom for it.

I thought they'd be nicer because you hear all these stories about browncoat bonding but my limited experience with them was that they weren't all that friendly.

Still love the show, don't touch the fandom.

Homestuck. Mostly because I have trouble escaping it.

Snk, and the new just kind of general sports anime fandom. I don't know why sports anime and its fans bug me so much but it DOES.

The fandom for Tolkien in general. So much snobbery about nothing.

Anime.

Video games.

Do people who are really, really into the weaponry and tactics of the American military qualify as a fandom? I find such folks alternately tiresome and fascinating.

(There are a lot of these people in the MLP fandom, and they love to pit human soldiers against threats in and around Equestria and have the humans win easily. Like it's really such a big deal that soldiers with guns would outclass cartoon ponies who throw pies at each other!)

Anything that's on tumblr whoops. I checked the WTNV out of curiosity and HO-LY COW, I turned around and never looked back.

And SnK, I guess. Oh boy, SnK... Where do I even start?

You don't. You just back away slowly and watch the SnK fandom from afar.
