What's something you've experienced (IRL or not) that's pushed you out of your comfort zone? How did you react to it and how did it affect you and your life?

I ask because I've just moved out for my first full-time job, and in a different country. I'm still getting used to it and I'm homesick as, but it's a way better place than I was at last year or even two months ago.
