And now it's just people blathering about the same shit I'm trying not to think about. Fandom used to be an escape. Even the drama really, because for the most part you could laugh at it. It's not anymore. Anyone else feel this way?

Sometimes I find fandom exhausting these days, like I want to go online and laugh at something but it's hard to find. Trying to find a place where you can shut your brain off online can be difficult, sometimes I have to just go watch tv and leave the computer alone.

Yeah, pretty much. I'm in fandom for the dumb fun and meta, but it seems like fandom's gotten a lot more serious and lost its good sense of humor.
