Not trying to be insensitive, but have you tried therapy? If it's gotten to the point where you're having compulsions and intrusive thoughts, it's probably time to seek treatment. ...You don't have to live like that, you know.

I don't have the money or some sort of plan to cover therapy atm. I'm looking into my options because I can't live like this. I need therapy for more than just this too, so my life kinda sucks atm.

If you live someplace with socialized medicine or you are going to University, then you usually have access to some amount of free psychiatric appointments.

If not, then I can only sympathize and hope your situation changes soon.

I'm in the US and I apparently missed the signup for Obamacare. Not sure if I could afford it even if I didn't. I'm not in college either. So I'm shit out of luck for the time being.
