It doesn't seem that petty to me. Crappy romanizations kinda give me the impression that the author doesn't care all that much.

It's some of the best fic for the fandom though. They just champion the ~Japanese~ romanizations over localizations and good fantranslations. Which pisses me off but is completely forgivable.

WELL IF YOU REALLY WANT TO READ ABOUT RUTEE KATRET, RITORA*, HAROLD BELSERIUS, CHELSEA TONE AND OTHER STRANGELY SPELLED DESTINY CHARACTERS I was talking about Lepidopteran! http://archiveofourown.org/users/inarticulate/pseuds/Lepidopteran/works?fandom_id=11138 . Their fic is pretty good if you're willing to look past the romanizations. Maybe get foxreplace or ponify if they bug you as much as they do me.
