Enjoying it so far except for the girl who's transparently a more realistic fujoshi author insert.

I like it. Bearded ace inspector is my husbando. I'm terrible with names. When Risa came home I thought "If I were her I would have run away a long time ago" and then the show read my mind! Also apparently this will have ties with what Japan thinks Norse mythology is like (someone pointed out on /a/ that 9 and 12 are associated with Odin's ravens in the OP). I'm wondering where this will lead. Lack of background info on Five, Nine and Twelve is a bit frustating.

The girl doesn't strike me as an author insert, but she is pretty boring. But I don't like the two main dude characters either. I'm enjoying the police work angle a lot more. All police all the time and let's ignore the emo teenagers, please.

I'm liking it but Lisa feels really pointless right now and I can't bring myself to care about what happens to her. If the show keeps spending time on her then I hope it at least hurries up in bringing her into the plot somehow.
