Being butthurt about it is fine. Trying to claim they're equivalent is not only dumb, but delusional. In this case, it's like going up to someone whose leg has been mangled in a car wreck and telling them alllllll about how you stubbed your pinkie toe really bad yesterday and then expecting them to nod and fist-bump you for being a member of the Leg Injury Club.
