Re: Yuletide: is anyone up for answering my questions?

For the second question, they try really hard to match everyone up. If someone turns out to be completely unmatchable, they'll try to find someone to pinch-hit (that is, to offer to fill your request) It's a huge community and this usually works. If that fails, I'm not sure what happens next. They may ask you to change one of your requests. You won't be left hanging without a gift, though. Requests aren't sent out until everyone is matched up either with an offer from the signup, or with a volunteer pinch-hitter.

Are you worried that your fandoms are too obscure? You can always mix in a less-obscure fandom as kind of a "safety" if you're worried about not being matched. But you have to be pretty obscure before you're too obscure for Yuletide.

For the first question -- the 18+ rule -- I don't know. Someone else will have to answer that one for me. Sorry!
