(Anonymous) 2014-07-27 12:46 am (UTC)(link)She's mostly liberal when it comes to civil rights/domestic social issues, center-right on fiscal issues, and mostly hawkish when it comes to foreign policy.
My dad was more of a peacenik than my mom, and probably an atheist. He also was socially liberal when it came to most things, but had a weird racist streak sometimes. I don't really know what his thoughts were on fiscal matters.
I'm solidly liberal. I'm not particularly religious, but don't have a problem with people who are as long as they're not using it as an excuse to be assholes.
