Re: San Diego Comic Con anyone?

I've followed it more closely in the past; it isn't that I'm not interested, but either I've been busy or otherwise preoccupied. The only way I know to keep up with it is to refresh my dashboard constantly or check the comic con tag, but I'm too lazy for that right now.

So mostly I've seen pictures of Teen Wolf cast members being adorable, but haven't bothered listening to the panel (I'm rapidly losing interest in this show). I've also seen the posters for Age of Ultron. Is the Marvel panel a general Marvel panel, or is this one for just the MCU, or what? I might catch that later.

Actually, I should probably look and see if Haven had/has a panel, because that is the most hilarious and delightful cast ever.

Other than that... I have no idea what's at Comic con. Everything, probably, but I don't feel like watching panels for everything, lol.

(OH, and I heard there's going to be a The Last of Us movie. I'm very conflicted about that. God, I hope they at least cast a talented actress; Kaitlyn Denver would be perfect for Ellie.

I heard a rumor they were looking at Maisie Williams for Ellie? If she can do an American accent she might be pretty good....

I don't watch GOT so I'm not sure how talented she is, but I've heard good things. So hopefully she can pull off the accent!

She looks so tiny and innocent in her imdb photos but I've seen shots of her in GOT and she obviously looks much more hardened there. Maybe she would fit in. It'd be amusing to see her with Ellie's mouth.

Unless... Geez, if this movie gets anything but an R rating it's going to be bizarre. Ugh, now I don't want to think about it again...

(I still wish it could be Kaitlyn though! She's got the perfect look and was excellent in Justified. She'd fit right in... Though she is older than Ellie, Hollywood doesn't usually care about that kind of thing.)

The big panel that's going on right now (or maybe it's over?) is for Marvel Studios, so everything that has to do with the movies. Earlier they had panels for comics, games, and there was an Agent Carter and Agents of SHIELD panels.

I do think that Comic Con is too big. Just looking at the schedule on their website felt extremely overwhelming and I'm not even there! I get that most things cross over mediums, but it feels kinda all over the place. Even though I'm sure it's very well organized itself.

I've seen so much Marvel stuff on my dash today (And I was only on for about twenty minutes)! I need to hunt this panel down; it sounds awesome.

IA, even if you were in a bunch of the fandoms I'm not sure how you would keep track of all that info.
