I actually DO want to rewatch it (now that almost 10 years have passed :p) because I've always wanted to tackle trying to write Griffith from the time he was imprisoned until his transfiguration into Femto. (Just thinking of the scene where he's rescued by Guts et al, how he looked like a broken marionette as Guts carried him out, and then him watching the tenderness that had developed between Guts and Caska ... gah, even knowing what he would do to them during the Eclipse, remembering those scenes still makes my heart hurt.)

I haven't bought/seen the remake (which is more faithful to the manga by including Puck and Skull Knight I guess?) because it's just not going to be the same without Hirasawa's awesome music.

He did at least some of the music for the movie Paprika, and there's the awesome song he did for the opening of the PS2 version of the Berserk Game, I think it is?

I love the "made up language" of this piece. (Note that the trailer does have recreated shots of some Eclipse bits (anything you don't recognize is from the manga volumes that follow what was animated, so vol 11 onward.)
