Loner with no friends who reads all the time.

The glasses chick with a pinch of the otaku probably. Chances are I'd be portrayed as in the library most of them.

So, basically Autor from Princess Tutu combined with one of the girls from Princess Jellyfish.

I'd be a very confusing character. I'd be a loner who reads a lot and consequently a huge nerd, but at the same time I'd be the one who constantly does some crazy weird shit and is really vocal about their opinions. And then I'd also be creative and special snowflake-y, possibly with Manic Pixie undertones.

Like. I think I'd be multiple characters, because a HS AU can't handle contradictions like this.

Oh look, all the gymbros are actually werewolves, the inevitable jocks vs. nerds prank war has set fire to the locker room again, and several of the 15 year olds have decided to elope forever with a 400 year old vampire (but he's mentally 16!). This means more paperwork, doesn't it?

Distance Ed student who lives very much outside the catchment area and spends more time outdoors than in. Speaker-to-Trees, etc.

Do HS AUs have neutral parties? I don't think they do, which means I probably wouldn't be in one.

the chick/dude with a really bad car/motorcycle
smokes pot
juggles many jobs because is poor
no time for studying -> bad grades
best friend is a nerd who's secretly crushing on you

inevitably the rich, popular bastard gets to be your lab partner
but oh no, what's this? suddenly he's into you and either blackmails/starts stalking you and it's supposed to be romantic

Uh. Lazy, quiet, but approachable and friendly background nerd? Is that a role?

The weird geeky girl who mostly hangs by herself or with the other geeky people.

The anime geek, same as I was back in HS.

Funnily enough, I've got a ten year reunion coming up in September.

Me as a teenager? Or me with my adult knowledge becoming a teen again? Because those are two very different characters. If you're going for an amalgam, I guess I'd be be the angry gothy rebel with self-destructive tendencies that could still be a good ally if you know how to deal with her.

Snarky outcast by choice probably with some mildly gothic fashion choices going on (but not full teen goth.)
