When I first started writing under a new pen name, I didn't get any reviews. But I kept having ideas so I kept writing and throwing my fics out there. About the fourth fic, people started to actually notice my fic and leaving reviews and then some went back and started reading my earlier fics.

I was never very popular; I got probably at most got 10 or so reviews per fic (and some kudos/favorties). But if I had stopped because I wasn't getting feed back on the first few, I wouldn't have gotten any at all.

This is especially true if you're writing in a tiny fandom. I think the most reviews I've ever gotten on anything was three - and that was a big deal to me!
