Re: Vaugely based on #10

nayrt, but the blatant anachronisms in A Knight's Tale ruined the movie for me. I know they were deliberate - I know it was supposed to be funny - but it just hits one of those stumbling blocks in my mind and I cannot get past it. Doesn't mean it's a bad movie, but it does mean that the film did not work for me.

It's silly, because with some things, I have no problem with suspension of belief, and yet with other things it becomes 'no, it is impossible for me to accept this.'

It's funny - if it was just the music with everything else staying more or less medieval-y, I'd think it'd have actually been a funny thing to include. But the way just about everyone is more or less dressed in a era appropriate costume, but the love interest chick is constantly dressed in weird, completely anachronistic clothes (as the only person in the whole movie) was what annoyed me the most.
