The Dark Knight exists so ehhhhhhh. Though it did get a better RT rating than Man of Steel!

Oh please, The Dark Knight is so overrated. Ledger had a couple of good scenes, the opening and the attack on the (not)Batmobile, but apart from that it was just another dreary bit of dreariness. If Ledger hadn't given the movie a boost by dying when he did then it wouldn't anywhere near so acclaimed as it is. Dead actor=bump in movie-rating, well documented phenomenon. Even the Street Fighter movie got a big bump because of Raul Julia's passing.

Yes, I see all the acclaim that Street Fighter got (thanks to Raul Julia's passing). A whole 12% on Rotten tomatoes. Amazing.

Popularity =/= critical acclaim.

Nolan is overrated period. Every movie that I've seen of his I came out if it with a rant to the people around me. Memento. Prestige. Inception. All the Dark Knight movies. And probably with Interstellar.

Prestige is the only one I really enjoyed a lot, but even it was pretty messy if you looked beyond it being just a popcorn flick.

Dark Knight sucked. It was just an grim dark action movie with batman thrown in. they seemed to forget that you know Batman is supposed to be a hero.
