A cleaner version of the sketch teaser was found and it looks like Sakura is in with a bunch of Naruto sketches. Aaaaand she's pregnant. The movie takes place a year or two after the ending of the manga, so I'm fairly disappointed if it's true. Why make the main heroine pregnant? It's bad enough she gets sidelined by Naruto constantly, but now she's going to spend the movie not being able to do anything? Ugh.

And I wouldn't be surprised if Kishimoto was going for a Kushina/Sakura parallel.

It is kinda blurry, are we sure that's Sakura?

It could be anyone, but the hair is spiky like hers, is unccolored, so it's light like hers, and it's right next to a ton of Naruto sketches. It could be someone else, I guess!

Not happy with it. NaruSaku already has Sakura being pretty useless, with Naruto constantly sending her to the trenches while he does everything for her. Her being pregnant at only, what, eighteen/nineteen? It's just a crappy way of shelving her character, yet again.

That's not something that's limited to NaruSaku. It happens whenever she's within range of Sasuke. Kishimoto is pretty bad when at this sort of thing.

Eh, not really. It wasn't until Sasuke showed up that she said she was going to fight along side them. Then it was Sakura that allowed Obito to bring back Sasuke. It was also her alone that went after Sasuke in the Loi to kill him. She's a lot more proactive when Naruto isn't around/she isn't alone with him. But when she is...like after the CPR scene and he just says "You go back to the corner, I got this bb" and she says "lol no thanks", it's just not my thing. :p

Admittedly, I've not read any recent chapters, but it did happen fairly often when she was around Sasuke. Maybe it is a new development, but if iirc, Sasuke said that Sakura needed to stay out of it, that only Naruto and he mattered. In this very arc. He also told that to Kakashi. Dude's an asshole.

They're both pretty bad when it comes to Sakura.

Er, my point being that Naruto is seen as the good guy, so him sidelining her is supposed to be okay, while Sasuke is a humungous dick and his behavior matches that. Just skeeves me how Naruto's behavior is seen as endearing, when it's just really backwards to me.

Well fuck. Poor Anko. Even Yamato was seen relatively recently.

The reason why I don't think she'd be doing anything while pregnant is that her hair is super long. She cut it because it got in the way of her doing her missions. If she's grown it out again...doesn't come off as a good sign.

Granted, it could be Hinata or Karin? She doesn't have the long face spikes Sakura has in the front, only one long strand on each side. It's just that her hair isn't colored, so...unless Kishi left it uncolored to be more of a tease. Her face isn't shown for a reason, and leaving her hair light would be a dead give away who it is-So hiding the face would be pointless. HM!

I don't get the joke. If she's pregnant, then yes it would be Naruto's? Or do you think Kishimoto would have her end up with a random no name civilian? And yeah, this is Naruto. Or are you trying to say it's stupid to think she's pregnant if she gained weight, because if you think Kishimoto would make one of his female characters fat...lol...

Can't say I'd be stunned if it was true, not after what happened to Kurenai.
