Indeed. Isn't it about time we put all this emo crap behind us and started to try and have fun about things again?

I think a big problem is with every reboot comes an origin story. I wish we could just skip them at this point for popular superheros, like Superman and Batman. Origin stories are bummers!

And while not DC, I did really enjoy Quicksilver in Days of Future Past. It was so refreshing to see a character who actually LIKED having powers!

Origin Stories are just a cheap way for a studio to pad out a franchise with an extra movie. The promostuff from the latest Abrams Trek has come out and admitted that the first two movies were just a paired Origin Story for movie three as well. And DC is doing an entire franchise of origin stories. Same problem with Edwards Godzilla movie, it was another origin story for Godzilla.

I hate Origin Stories. They are just so unnecessary.

I am so with you on Quicksilver though, wish we had more of him. Here's hoping he'll show up in X-men Third Class (or whatever they call it).
