But I don't get the impression that the Chris Benoit thing is regarded as a run-of-the-mill, risks of the sport thing. I get the impression that it's regarded as horrible and awful and something to be avoided. I don't know enough to say with authority whether or not WWE has done any good in fighting steroids, but it's hardly unique in professional athletics in dealing with that issue. And I've known plenty of wrestling fans that have been intelligent and articulate, and I'm really not enthusiastic about dismissing them en masse as ignorant rednecks.
