Re: blind cosplayers?

Because you don't have to be able to see to enjoy dressing up. I think it's the same way why someone who is blind would bother following fashion trends. Just because they can't see themselves, doesn't mean they don't want other people to think they look good and gain self-confidence. And isn't a large part of cosplaying about being part of a community? Maybe they really dig that too.

I don't cosplay, but I'd think that some of the appeal of just me seeing myself as a character would be lost after the first few months of staring at it all day long.
