I don't know what AAVE is, but if someone writes an accent out phonetically, I immediately hit the back button. (See: Rogue and Gambit. Jesus Christ most of that fic is hard to read.)

AAVE is African American Vernacular English

Your sentence structure sounds good. A lot of people don't write speech patterns like that naturalistically.
