I actually headcanon them sill liking older music, both of them. In my mind they're both Cole Porter fans. As for newer music, yeah, Steve also strikes me as a classic rock guy.

I'm not sure Bucky (one slightly on the mend) would only prefer music from his past. In fact, my guess would be he'd go through a phase where he'd actively avoid things that trigger memories. I either picture him as liking bombastic stuff (possibly with no lyrics) like (faux) game or movie soundtracks, or actually obsessing over thing with do have dark and emotional lyrics, a bit more emo - in a way he'd be going through some sort of second puberty (especially if you meld a bit more with the comic canons, where he was way younger when he "died").

I think they would also enjoy music from their era. But I expect they (I know Steve would) catch up on modern day music.

See I was thinking of like techno and such for Bucky. BUT, I think I am drawn to that because of The Winter Soldier song. So I automatically associate him with that metallic, screeching sound.

Maybe dubstep for Bucky. Something loud to drown out his thoughts.

With dubstep I'd imagine him liking the sound but avoiding the concerts because of sensory overload. But hey, that's just my headcanon.

Yeah, I don't see either of them going to concerts. I was thinking more to work out to (or run to).
