Re: Poltergeist: The Legacy

I used to watch this show. I think I have some slash fic saved from an author I liked. Sadly, I don't know if I know the show well enough to be able to talk about it. I think I had a huge crush on the main guy (Derek?). I also remember them having some kind of liquid-door (is that right?) that I thought was cool.

What's really grabbed you this time around? What's your favorite part?

I've only seen a few episodes myself this time around. They have a holographic door into the inner sanctum of their base, though I think that was a thing in the nineties, I remember several other shows that had that (Mutant X, for one, and they had slightly more excuse). Derek is awesome, though. The main guy, as you said. And also Alex, though it's possible I like those two because they're the psychics/sensitives and I like that sort of character. They're the most interesting, though.

I watched it again because I've been looking for something like the Ghost Hunt anime, people dealing with paranormal events that didn't necessarily jump straight to monster hunters a-la SPN. So far, although they do do the odd spot of demon-exorcising, they're actually doing pretty well in this regard.
