I've seen plenty of reasons for why the professional gaming league players are mostly men. The most common being that the community is toxic and women who have the skills and talent either are afraid to enter the arena or get discouraged early in the career by the naysayers. Basically, the league doesn't do enough to encourage female players and more or less takes the stance of remaining neutral.
