Most people refer to them as "lip plates" or "mouth plates" last time I checked. I might be wrong on that. They don't exactly have teeth.

Def, and idgi. YKINMK and whatever else, but sexual attraction towards a species that clearly doesn't have sexual organs and fandoms insistence on giving them magical dicks with questionable body fluids weirds me out.

I don't care about the shipping, but does there always have to be porn? And if so, does it always have to be giant dicks?

On the one hand I am sad because I dredged up the courage to create my first and *only* FS last week and...it was about Optimus, so it got posted this week along with all the rest. :/

On the other hand, more pics of Optimus are always welcome in my world!

Personally, yes I am one of those freaks who find giant robots attractive, but I prefer fics where they exchange power surges instead of fluids.... however, speaking of fluids, Bay's first TF movie had Bumblebee basically pissing all over someone if I recall correctly. Soooo robot fluids are canon, but YUCK.

Eh... I don't complain so much about Optimus' new design as I do about Hound's. I mean , what the fuck is that bearded, cigarchewing monstrosity? Not the cute piece of metal I fell for, that's for sure.

Same. I think with *certain character's death* (is that still a spoiler?), they sent a message that they're finally, completely killing off the more alien-looking designs for the alien species*. I might have bought the more humanoid designs, if they had played it off as the Transformers' response to living among humans. But no, it's pretty obvious it's just hurr hurr stereotypes r fun and easy!

*Yeah the Dinobots have pretty alien-looking bipedal modes but we basically don't see them in the movie.

I miss the times when Optimus had the most human-looking face. Sentinel's design bugged me and then AOE you have everybody suddenly getting lips and stuff. I think the designers got lazy.

Their protoforms were more organic-looking until they scanned altforms, so I'm not too pressed about them looking more human-ish. Also I always just assumed they did it to be more relatable to humans.
