She really is cute.

sorry I don't have anything else.

I've never liked the "my crush on Sherlock makes me giggly and awkward teehee" aspect of her character. Even series 3 was kind of too little, too late for me, because it felt like they were trying to fix it by doing an artificial 180.

Came here to say exactly this

(Anonymous) 2014-08-01 01:13 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, you caught that ridiculous public fawning over Cumberbatch, too.

(Anonymous) 2014-08-01 01:23 am (UTC)(link)
She's campaigning for a bigger role on the show, i.e., Sherlock's girlfriend, and wants to get the fangirls behind her, hence the Cumberbatch stuff. Fairly simple psychology behind it all.

Seriously? I don't see how that'd work, but uh, okay. Are there really that many Sherlolly shippers in fandom?

(Anonymous) 2014-08-01 02:39 am (UTC)(link)
Now that Gatiss has admitted they've been queerbaiting the whole time (and BTW are going to stop now), the Sherlollies will be in 7th heaven.

(Anonymous) 2014-08-01 03:55 am (UTC)(link)
When was this? Do you have a link?

(Anonymous) 2014-08-01 04:06 am (UTC)(link)
Just came out today.

And, by the way, everyone who bitched and moaned at the people who correctly called queerbaiting on the nose owes them an apology.

(Anonymous) 2014-08-01 01:35 pm (UTC)(link)
if that happens I'll be seriously upset. I don't think sherlock should really end up with anyone.

(Anonymous) 2014-08-01 08:22 am (UTC)(link)
She only "fawns" over Cumberbatch on twitter because 90% of her followers want any little snippet she can give them about him, and she's obliging them. Her boyfriend is not public property. Why should she talk about him? Louise uses twitter to promote her work and she's very successful at doing it.

This makes it sound like I think she's using twitter cynically. On the contrary, I think she's just being nice to her followers and she genuinely likes Cumberbatch. But she's a journalist as well as an actress.

Honey, they ALL use twitter cynically - they're actors, for fuck's sake!
