...Wait. This is going to turn out to be MLP or some male-dominated video game fandom, isn't it.
Well, it doesn't really change my opinion. You have every right to find it distasteful, but. There's a lot of distasteful stuff. At least most of the people writing the hatefic are trying to be on your side.

Especially the "really wanted all that stuff to happen" part because I've somehow come across too many people like that in the FiM fandom of all things.
