They're grouped with a lot of American distributors, so unsure. They apparently are fairly confident they can get those sites taken down.

I stopped reading anime/watching manga aside from rare exceptions years ago so I don't really care, but I can't think of an instance when this has ever actually worked, as opposed to merely making pirates change their sites/sharing formats.

Why not just let it go?

Yeah but so does car idling (plus it helps destroy the environment) and no measures everybody has ever taken has actually worked to stop it, so people just let it go.
