And Picard just rolls with it because why not.

I like this idea, although the one time Q tried to convince Picard he had died and Q was what he gets in the afterlife, Picard didn't react very well. "The universe is not that badly designed!"

True. But when he's really about to die, he'll have the memory of the time it was a fake out and be able to realize that's not what's going on.
