What if they're unaware of the law? There are a lot of arbitrary laws out there, many that are obsolete and make no sense but haven't been taken out of the books. Chances are pretty high you've broken some yourself. Not to mention unjust laws that violate human rights.

Sorry, OP, I know this is a shallow dealbreaker thread but you seem to have a really rigid way of thinking that I can't quite wrap my brain around.

If they're unaware, that's completely different. If they didn't know, then their action doesn't come from a sense of entitlement. Likewise, breaking any laws that clearly violate human rights can obviously be excused from this.

It wasn't really obvious though from the way you were talking but I'm glad we cleared that up!
