Honestly, anon, I'm kind of weirded out by your implication that people who have one drink are then judgment-impaired. I can have more than one and still be 100% in my right mind. (I often have two, though I usually drink pretty slowly.)

People hold their liquor very differently and I'm not really a fan of being around drunk people either, but it's totally possible to be a light drinker and not lose your wits. In fact I'm pretty uncomfortable with the idea of losing judgment myself which is why I'm careful about how much I drink.
